Amy is a Registered Psychologist in New Zealand and a registered Forensic Psychologist in the UK. Originally from Guernsey in the Channel Islands, she re-located to New Zealand in 2019 and now calls beautiful Queenstown home. She is passionate about meeting clients where they are at and walking alongside to support them to feel heard and develop self-compassion. She believes that by telling and understanding our stories in new ways, we can enrich the meaning we give to ourselves and our lives. In this way, we find that the person is not the problem, the problem is the problem. Amy has experience in Correctional, Forensic Mental Health and Community settings working with adults with a range of personality and mental health difficulties. She has specific interests in working with issues relating to personality, trauma, and harmful/risky behaviours (i.e. violence, substance abuse, general offending behaviour).
