Jo is a practical, down-to-earth Clinical Psychologist who grew up in ÅŒtepoti Dunedin and trained at the University of Otago. Since graduating in 2008 she has worked in a range roles across the South Island including brief intervention, adolescent alcohol and drug counselling, and child and family support, as well in private practice and as a lecturer and supervisor at the University of Otago Clinical Psychology training programme for 13 years.
She has a particular interest in the effect of early years on normal development and issues later in life, and enjoys working with children and their families as well as adolescents and adults. When not working Jo aims to spend her time in the outdoors, whether in the bush, sea, hills, or garden.
