Simon is a Clinical Psychologist based in Wellington. He provides a supportive, non-judgmental space for people to untangle their challenges and move toward meaningful change. His approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based therapies like CBT, ACT, DBT, and EMDR.
Alongside his private practice, Simon works with childhood cancer survivors in the Late Effects Assessment Programme at Te Whatu Ora. He has also supported people of all ages across public health settings, working with trauma, emotional dysregulation, OCD, chronic pain, functional seizures, and gender dysphoria.
Before becoming a psychologist, Simon worked in broadcasting and education and travelled widely—experiences that shape his flexible, down-to-earth style. He believes therapy should go beyond talk; it should provide a relationship that fosters real, lasting change.
