Theresa is motivated to work collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals and a life that is meaningful for them. She strongly believes that positive change is attainable for all individuals, despite their history.
Theresa has gained clinical experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in a community mental health setting, as well as individuals with learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in an inpatient setting. Theresa’s work currently includes assessment and treatment for ACC sensitive claims clients, general psychological assessment and therapy (i.e. non-ACC work), clinical supervision/consultation, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments for adults. She has specialist assessment skills in neurodevelopmental disorders (i.e. intellectual disability and ASD).
Theresa’s areas of interest and experience include trauma (i.e., PTSD and CPTSD), anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA+, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her knowledge and skills are across a wide range of therapies.
Therapies used: CBT, EMDR, ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy.
