Theresa's work includes assessment and treatment for ACC sensitive claims as well as working with adolescents and adults with a wide range of mental health issues. She is motivated to work collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals and a life that is meaningful for them. She strongly believes that positive change is attainable for all individuals.
Theresa has gained clinical experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in a community setting, as well as individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in an inpatient setting. Her areas of interest and experience include trauma, anxiety, depression, autism, and learning disabilities. Her knowledge and skills are across a wide range of therapies and primary interests are in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-focused therapy, and mindfulness based therapies. She also has specialist assessment skills in neurodevelopmental disorders, including intellectual disability, and autism spectrum disorder.
